Operation: Auspex was an early forumer campaign created by Dark T Zeratul and Seawolf and released in January 2001. A few maps were released, as well as a StarEdit patch: *--Missions one, two, and the cutscenes following two are working. Incomplete versions of the other maps are included for nostalgia purposes. *--God only knows what version of //Starcraft// that EXE works with, and unfortunately, God could not be reached for comment. Known bugs (pilfered from Ye Olde WASTE Site):

In Mission 2, Psionic Templar sometimes doesn't leave properly...he doesn't leave at all. This will cause the game to hang up, and you'll have to restart the mission. This only happened once out of the 20+ times I play-tested it, so it's not likely, but it can happen.

In Mission 1, the same thing may happen: Psionic Templar just hangs around. But in this case, the game won't hang up...it's just an annoying quirk. Unfortunately, I saw this one twice, so it's a bit more likely to happen.

For some reason I still can't figure out, sometimes Player 1 (red) will attack the heroes in Mission 2 when they first stop to talk. Red is not supposed to do this, and I have no idea why it does, since they're allies at that point. If it happens, you may have to restart the mission, depending on how it turns out.

DTZ did a that you might find neat.
