As such, he is the ultimate leader of the Good Guys...and prime enemy and target of the Bad Guys. And while he sometimes uses his esteemed status do things his way, he usually just melds with the rest of the group as “one of the guys”.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Driven by a personal vendetta against TGF, Auspex joined Rockwell in the fatal duel with TGF and Bakjak, and saw Rockwell, his “greatest creation”, killed. He immediately sought out the VSP for their assistance in getting Rockwell back, fighting with them until Rockwell was safe and sound after the climactic showdown in the evil Mason Wheeler clone’s fortress, where Auspex took out Stuart, the “fake Auspex”, personally.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>As part of his quest to control Earth and undo A3, Broker made the capturing of Auspex and the TAC staff one of his first acts, but they escaped to help the VSP and WASTE. Auspex helped lead the retaking of the VSP Headquarters and then piloted his arbiter in the final space battle at Broker’s moon fortress. And then, of course, he led the successful effort to get Rockwell back.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>Auspex is a very capable leader, and is always ready to help the VSP and their friends, especially when his “greatest creation” is at risk.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“No! My greatest creation! How could I have let this happen? You will pay dearly for this! Mark my words! YOU WILL PAY!” --to TGF after he killed Rockwell (Part I) *“I need your help to make TGF pay.” --to the VSP after Rockwell’s death (Part I) *“If I had known what StarCraft was like in real life, I would have never made the Antioch Chronicles.” --when facing numerous lurkers outside the evil Wheeler clone’s fortress (Part I) *“It ends here. Your Zerg are defeated, your plans foiled, your allies TGF and Bakjak gone. Will you come along peacefully, or shall I have a whole FLEET escort you out of here?” --to the final four Bad Guys in Part I just before the final battle (Part I) *“One million dollars.” --to Bakjak (in Dr. Evil’s voice), presenting a bribe for the TAC Staff’s release in Broker’s space station (Part II) *“I’ve got the timing pretty well down.” --to Codebreaker, referring to his readiness for Rockwell’s dropship to appear in the A2 Prologue (Part II) === Codebreaker === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Codebreaker</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Co-Leader of the VSP</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>C-10 Rifle, Gauss Rifle</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Desert Eagle pistol; Psi Blades; Laptop</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>PossePlane (when there is one), PosseMobile</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>10</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Though he is merely a co-leader of the VSP, “CB” is very assertive and often tries (successfully) to take charge of the situation and lead his allies to victory.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Codebreaker led the VSP and their allies through the entirety of Part I (though power was somewhat shared with Auspex when he joined the group). Though he may have bumbled a few times along the way, his leadership brought the Posse to victory and Rockwell to salvation.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>In Part II, Codebreaker oftentimes led both the VSP and WASTE. He was the first to notice something amiss in the A2 Prologue and he assembled the two teams to find out what had happened to the missing Rockwell, effectively starting Part II. After playing a part in rescuing the TAC Staff and Mason Wheeler, CB was one of Wheeler’s companions when Mason broke into Broker’s main base, assuring Broker’s defeat and then blowing up the base. He then participated in the saving of Rockwell and afterwards became one of the main players in the effort to find and rescue Mason Wheeler.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>Codebreaker is an excellent leader and strategist, but sometimes he can get a bit too overconfident and end up in a jam.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“We’re there, man.” --to Auspex after he came to the VSP for their help in hunting down TGF (Part I) *“We're going to break into Insurrection to get the sound files from the original Arbiter so we can figure out how to time travel in order to go back in time so that we can stop TGF from killing Rockwell. I think.” --to Flyspeck, trying to explain the plan to save Rockwell (Part I) *“Guys, this is NOT good.” --to the VSP, unarmed and surrounded by hydralisks in the evil Wheeler clone’s fortress (Part I) *Bob: “Bob is...” <br>Codebreaker: “...dead. Yeah, we know.” --to the dying Bob after the VSP mortally wounded him in Part I’s showdown (Part I) *“Victory!” --after Part I’s final battle (Part I) *“VSPers, WASTErs and all-around good guys. We have quite a problem.” --to the VSP and WASTE, regarding the disappearance of Rockwell from the Antioch Universe (Part II) *“Time to give some back.” --just before blowing up a wraith with the PosseMobile (Part II) *“Heh, I kinda forgot about these. Until about five minutes ago.” --on his photon grenades, just before using them to blow up the reactor of Broker’s moon base (Part II) === Lambda Corps === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Lambda Corps</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Co-Leader of the VSP</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>Gauss Rifle</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Desert Eagle pistol</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>PossePlane (when there is one), PosseMobile</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Being less forward than Codebreaker, Lambda is often content to let his co-leader take charge and offer advice when CB runs out of answers. He has a quick wit and helps keep the Posse’s chins up when times are tough.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Lambda was a key figure in rescuing Rockwell in the original saga, sticking with the rest of the Posse and coming up with answers when Codebreaker had none (such as how to get out of locked rooms through grates rather than doors). He showed off his piloting skills when pursuing Bakjak in a wraith, and his fighting skills when helping to take down Bob in the final fight.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>LC played a big role in Part II, helping pilot the Hyperion and then the DragonSlayer and assisting Wheeler in his assault on Broker’s main base. His ideas helped the Good Guys overcome a large group of enemy forces in Broker’s space platform and later defeat Broker himself in his BattleMech. Lambda was a bit more trusting of Mason’s ideas during the assault; he is silently one of Mason’s biggest supporters and is very interested in getting him back.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>Though CB usually gets all the credit when the Posse does something great, Lambda is more often then not the one that came up with the idea that made that great thing happen.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“Oh right, the revenge thing.” --to the rest of the VSP when he was watching TV instead of planning how to avenge Rockwell (Part I) *“You guys done with that door yet? ‘Cause I found another way out, so unless you really are determined to go out THAT way....” --to Codebreaker after bashing out a grate to escape from a room with a locked door (Part I) *“You forgot about the deck guns {the Fenix} uses in that one space platform duel between the Fenix and Duran's infested battlecruiser....” --to CB, just before the Fenix used its deck guns on the Hyperion (Part II) *“I know it’s a bit late to bring this up, but do you know how we’re going to get through?” --to Mason Wheeler, just before he, Wheeler, CB, and Zeratul took the DragonSlayer into battle against Broker’s powerful fleet (Part II) *“I got it! We could...no, that wouldn’t work.” --in a typical Saga brainstorming session (Part II) === Dark_T_Zeratul === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Dark_T_Zeratul</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Leader of WASTE</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>Warp Blades</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Desert Eagle pistol; Ragnarok sword</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>none</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>10</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Zeratul hides his emotions very well...except for rage. He is rather serious most of the time--even stoic--but he gets true joy from WASTEing his enemies and from simple comradeship with his fellow WASTErs and their allies in the VSP and elsewhere.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Teaming up with the VSP early in the original saga, Zeratul stuck with them right to the end, slaying Pyro in a one-on-one duel. He mostly stayed in the background during Part I, but he when he did pipe up, he always has useful ideas to add...or serious WASTEing to do. (His early joining makes him the longest-running Good Guy in the Saga outside of the VSP.)</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>Between Parts I and II, Zeratul and Seawolf formed WASTE, which was an invaluable help to the VSP when Rockwell needed saving again. Zeratul joined Wheeler in his personal attack on Broker’s base, gaining the sword Ragnarok and then enhanced Illumina warp blades along the way. He came to truly appreciate Wheeler during their final assault on Broker, and therefore Zeratul became one of the people most concerned with finding him after Part II.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>An expert warrior, leader, and interrogator, Zeratul is always happy to lend his talents in battle. He likes nothing more than having his enemies “feel his wrath” (and his blades).</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“I will start with your fingertips, then the tips of your toes. After those have been cut off, I will do your eyes and ears. Your tongue will remain. This is so that you can still scream when the slow, painful torture begins.” --to TGF, Zeratul’s first line in the Saga (Part I) *“I've been looking forward to this, actually. There haven't been enough Zerg in this little 'saga' of ours, and I want some to feel my wrath....” upon running up against a large group of Zerg outside the evil Wheeler clone’s fortress (Part I) *“Here’s your ‘final showdown’, Pyro. Happy now? Oh sorry, you can’t hear me. You’re deceased.” --to Pyro, just after killing him in the final battle (Part I) *“I'm all for assassinating lamers and doing battle, but I don't know if we can beat THAT.” --to Mason Wheeler about the dragon Shinryu (Part II) *“I must not have heard you correctly. What was that again?” --to Tyrel Dvorak after he refused to answer a question, said while holding a warp blade to Dvorak’s throat (Part II) *“You will tell me everything, NOW!!!” --to Dvorak while grabbing his throat (Part II) *“Be good.” --to Bakjak, after he joined the small Good Guy team in Broker’s moon base (Part II) *“Pretty...thorough.” --upon surveying the remains of Broker’s moon base after blowing it up (Part II) === Seawolf === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Seawolf</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Second-In-Command of WASTE</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>Customized Gauss Rifle</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Desert Eagle pistol</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>Modified Battlecruiser Hyperion</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>10</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Seawolf is capable of great compassion, courage, and rage, all of which have proven invaluable to his allies. His biggest weakness is his overconfidence in his friends, even when they are blatantly wrong. But in that also lies one of his greatest strengths: his fierce loyalty to protect those that he cares about.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Seawolf was late in joining up with the VSP in the original saga, but played a crucial role in tracking down and destroying the infested clone of his friend Mason Wheeler, and he fired the killing shots into the evil clone himself.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>Seawolf took on a much larger role in Part II, transporting the heroes in his ship, the Hyperion, wherever they needed to go and/or fight. He helped lead the retaking of the VSP Headquarters and then convinced everyone to go assist Wheeler in the final assault on Broker. He was one of the three heroes that then went into the Antioch Universe to save Rockwell, an he spearheaded the rescue effort of his friend Mason Wheeler afterwards.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>Seawolf is a fine leader and an excellent pilot, but a bit overconfident at times, both in himself and in others.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“Guess I’ll have to find a replacement for SpecOps’ tech guy....” --to the infested Wheeler clone after firing the killing shots into him (Part I) *“VERY glad to see you, man….” --to Mason Wheeler after discovering his friend was NOT the infested clone (Part I) *“I have thought about it long and hard, and I have come to the absolute conclusion...that we don't know what to do!” --to the VSP and WASTE when they first start planning how to get Rockwell back (Part II) *“I know what I’m doing. Watch.” --to Mat-Def, just before using unconventional maneuvers to escape the Fenix (Part II) *“Jeez, man. We risked EVERYTHING to save your skin. I DEFENDED YOU, and all along it WAS you!” --to Mason Wheeler after discovering Wheeler was responsible for Rockwell’s death (Part II) *“Alright then, let's kick some banned butts! Are you with me?” --to the VSP and WASTE just before attacking the Banned Ones (Part II) *“I need him to stay alive so that I can kill him later.” --to Jenni about Mason and his decision to go help him defeat Broker (Part II) *“Guys, we are in SERIOUS trouble.” --to the Good Guys upon seeing Broker’s massive fleet (Part II) *“En Taro MilkDuds.” --after destroying one of Broker’s last ships (Part II) === Mason Wheeler === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Mason Wheeler</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Good Guy</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>Gauss Rifle; “Sleeper” Infantry Gear</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Flamethrowers</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>Proto-Cruiser DragonSlayer</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>10</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I (briefly)</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Mason is the epitome of the good guy with a nasty streak just barely being kept in check. While there is no doubt of his loyalty to his friends and his sincere desire to see the Bad Guys defeated, Mason truly hates Mason Rockwell, and that bitter hatred has left a dark side growing in Wheeler that briefly emerged when he killed Rockwell off at the start of Part II and was embodied in his almost-evil Narrator clone.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>Wheeler came into the fold after the VSP defeated his evil, infested clone in Part I. He was around for the partying, but little else.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>Just six weeks after Part I, Mason succumbed to his hatred for Rockwell and created the Crossover to destroy him, kicking off Part II. He was captured by Broker shortly afterwards, but then rescued by the VSP and WASTE. Seeking to undo his grievous mistake and redeem himself to his friends, he took a small team comprised of the two groups’ leaders in the DragonSlayer to Broker’s base, where he selflessly stranded both himself and Kurt Broker into the Antioch Universe. After Rockwell was rescued, the VSP and WASTE turned their attention towards getting Wheeler back, setting up Part III....</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>Mason is a decent leader and warrior, but his true skills are in front of a keyboard or the controls of a ship, especially the DragonSlayer.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“I’m dead? Haha...yeah, I know. Or, rather, my CLONE is dead....” --to the Good Guys after they killed his evil, infested clone (Part I) *“Oh crap. Oh, crap.” --just before the original DragonSlayer was blown in half (Part II) *“So basically, you used me to get the job done, and I fell for the entire thing. This feels like Brood War.” --to Broker after finding out that he had been set up to create the Crossover so that Broker could use it (Part II) *“I put you all at risk, and I'm going to finish the mission myself to make up for it. After today, Broker will no longer be a threat to you.” --to the bulk of the Good Guys, just before heading for Broker’s station in the DragonSlayer (Part II) *“NO! Never give up! Never surrender!” --in response to Lambda Corps’ suggestion that they withdraw from the battle with the dragon Shinryu (Part II) *“CB! No matter what happens to me, rescue Rockwell and destroy the [Crossover] discs!” --to Codebreaker just before throwing Broker and himself into the Antioch Universe (Part II) === Bakjak === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>Bakjak</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Bad Guy</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>“Big Gun” (Talon Grenade Launcher), C-10 Rifle</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Psi Blades; Staff of Magius</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>none</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>9</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Money and power are what Bakjak strives after. He’s not really evil, it’s just that being a Bad Guy seems so much more rewarding in those two areas....</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>In the original saga, Bakjak was a chief enemy of the VSP, but rarely more than a henchman, first of TGF and then of the infested Wheeler clone. He quickly built up a reputation of being tough to defeat, though Auspex did kill him in battle, only for Bakjak to be collaterally brought back when the Good Guys went back in time to save Rockwell. It was though that Bakjak was left deserted on a tropical island by the Narrator, but that turned out to merely be a Bakjak clone.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>Bakjak originally sought out Wheeler after sensing Rockwell’s death, but was instead forced at gunpoint to work again as a servant, this time of Broker. While he did serve Broker well, with his successful capturing of the TAC Staff being his crowning achievement, Bakjak decided he’d had enough of working for someone else...he wanted to call his own shots. He blasted his way out of Broker’s base and took over the VSP Headquarters, then left it in the hands of TGF and The Banned Ones while he struck back at Broker. He briefly assisted the VSP and WASTE in their assault before betraying them and fleeing Broker’s station, vowing to strike back at them next.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>In truth, Bakjak hates the VSP and their allies less than he lets on. He even has a grudging respect for them, though he would never admit it. Again, his work as a Bad Guy has been so much more enjoyable and fruitful, at least so far.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“Alright Rockwell, you've done enough damage for one episode.” --to a tied-up Rockwell, Bakjak’s first line in the Saga (Part I) *“Shut up, you retard. Prepare yourself!” --to Rockwell, just before the battle in which both he and Rockwell were killed (to be brought back later) (Part II) *“Look at you...you're pathetic! Come on, shoot me!” --taunting the VSP after immobilizing them with ensnare fluid (Part I) *“Why do I always get bossed around?” --to himself, just before freeing the TAC Staff and leaving Broker’s employment (Part II) *“I've decided to go solo, TGF! I don't need you, Broker, or anyone. I do what I please.” --to TGF after leaving him and the Banned Ones in VSP HQ to go fight Broker himself (Part II) *“I feel I must repay you. I will help you defeat Broker. It’s what I was here to do, anyway.” --to Mason, CB, Lambda, and Zeratul, after they saved him from a losing firefight with Broker’s men (Part II) *“Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a base to take under control.” --to the same group, after betraying them (Part II) *“Vengeance will be mine, sayeth Bakjak, and then, you will respect my AUTHORITY!” --to himself, about the VSP and WASTE, after escaping Broker’s doomed base (Part II) === TGF === <table><tr><th>Name</th><td>TGF</td></tr> <tr><th>Position</th><td>Bad Guy; Leader of the Banned Ones</td></tr> <tr><th>Main Armament</th><td>Customized C-10 Rifle</td></tr> <tr><th>Additional Armament/Equipment</th><td>Psi Blades</td></tr> <tr><th>Vehicle/Ship</th><td>none</td></tr> <tr><th>Leadership Ability</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Strength</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Piloting Skill</th><td>8</td></tr> <tr><th>Computer Skill</th><td>7</td></tr> <tr><th>First Appearance</th><td>Part I</td></tr> <tr><th>Personality</th><td>Whereas his on-again, off-again counterpart Bakjak is driven by greed, TGF is driven by pure hatred. He loves power and money just fine too, but it’s his loathing of Rockwell and the VSP and their friends that drives him forward.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part I</th><td>TGF has long been an enemy of the VSP. He was, for a time, the primary foe of the VSP in Part I of the Saga, managing to actually kill Rockwell in battle. But the heroes went back in time and foiled TGF’s plans, and he was soon gone to plot his revenge.</td></tr> <tr><th>Part II</th><td>In Part II, TGF joined up with Bakjak to get back at the heroes, but was forced to work with Broker. He served his new boss well, but fled when the VSP and WASTE invaded Broker’s base and went to the VSP Headquarters, which his buddy Bakjak handed over to him and The Banned Ones. The VSP and WASTE managed to drive them back out, but TGF and a couple others escaped. TGF loathes the VSP and their friends, and is sure to pop back up to fight them again.</td></tr> <tr><th>Final Notes</th><td>TGF has been beaten time and again by the Good Guys, but he has always been lucky enough to survive their encounters and has sworn to not rest until he is victorious...or his luck finally runs out.</td></tr></table> Classic Quotes: *“Maybe in Rockwell’s dreams.” --to Rockwell, in response to his plea for mercy, just before TGF killed him (Part I) *“Damn you all!” --to the VSP, after they went back in time and saved Rockwell (Part I) *“Why does Bakjak get sent to do all the fun stuff?” --to himself, after not having done much of anything while Bakjak had all the action (Part II) *“They did it once before, and they’ll find a way again.” --to Halo14, after the younger Banned One confidently said that the Good Guys wouldn’t be able to reach them in the VSP HQ control room (Part II) *“Someday, I WILL have my revenge.” --silently to the VSP, just before fleeing VSP HQ after the defeat of the Banned Ones (Part II)
