Antioch Wars

Since it's inception on September 22nd, 2001, the forum-based RPGMaker 2000 game known as Antioch Wars has been one of my (and Seawolf's) largest projects. With dozens of forumers appearing in a variety of familiar (and brand-spanking new) locations (including other sites such as Online Life and Gaming World, an immense storyline spread out over five chapters, custom music, and much more, this game is something that Seawolf and I hope you'll enjoy from beginning to end. Because otherwise we'll cry.

The Antioch Wars website is here. You can also find a link in the Links page. Currently only Chapter One is avaliable for download, but be aware that an updated version of it as well as a demo for Chapter Two will be completed soon.

The Wrong Plot

The Wrong Plot is my other pet project, a sprite comic started in May of 2002. While it started out as a retelling of the first Megaman X game, the story quickly spiralled off into another direction, encompassing some very unexpected plot twists and even drawing Antioch itself into the mix. A mix of drama and zaniness, The Wrong Plot is fun for the whole family!

Comics I Read

Good lord, has it been that long? Anyway, yesterday (well, two days ago now) I became Junior Councilor for the Northern California DeMolay Association. Yes, I'm that Christopher Colton. In case it wasn't obvious enough. And if you have no idea what that means, well, I provided the URL for a reason.

First things first, the 300th Wrong Plot comic just went up. Good God, have I done that many already? Wow... OK, next item of business: Return of the King. My God, that movie was badass. The battle of Pelenor Fields made Helm's Deep look like a schoolyard scuffle. The Witch King of Angmar was awe-inspiring and fearsome. The death of Gollum and the destruction of the Ring (I make no apologies if you haven't read the book) were done very well, as was the subsequent death of Sauron and devestation of Mordor. The bond between Frodo and Sam was shown quite clearly, and you really identified with the two Hobbits ("There's not enough left for the return trip, Sam." "I don't think there's gonna BE a return trip, Mr. Frodo."). Theoden's death was actually kind of emotional (probably would've been moreso if I hadn't seen it coming). I'd say more, but it's 3am and I need to get to sleep... Now go watch it if you haven't done so already.

I had quite an odd dream last night. I was in the basement of an office building of some sort, in a meeting with some friends, a couple businessmen, and some Antiochers (Seawolf, Dies, Guesswho, Stoker). At some point the meeting adjourned. The two businessmen went into the elevator and went up. I felt something was suspicious about them, so Dies and I went up not to the first floor, but the ninth, to look out the window and see what was happening. Outside there was a black van (that I knew was full of thugs who wanted to rob us) and... One of my friends was in the passenger seat. I was shocked. Suddenly Dies had a gun to my head. He was in league with them. He took me into another room (the building had somehow become my house), where I learned that Seawolf was the only one not involved, and Guess and Stoker had "taken care" of him already. I was forced to watch helpless as the thugs (who were part of some sort of mafia) robbed me blind (Dies watched me, while my friends, Guess, and Stoker took everything upstairs) before going outside to board a plane with all the loot. I was taken into a black car by Stoker. With us was a woman I'd never seen (but somehow knew) and... the Mafia Boss (who for some reason was known as the Caliph). Stoker whispered to me that if I wanted to escape the time was now, but before he could help me the Caliph shot him. The Caliph stepped on the gas and we were off. Somehow we managed to get him out of the car, and I took the wheel and kept driving. At this point it suddenly became like a movie: I saw that down the road the Caliph was waiting, in another car, just beyond a turn, ready to shoot us. I saw the Caliph's car (with us in it) approach the turn... I was crouched down in the driver's seat, she was hanging onto the back bumper. As we rounded the turn we both leaped away... The car crashed into the one the Caliph was in, exploding. I walked towards the wreckage, gun in hand, to find the Caliph hanging from the branches in a nearby tree. I smiled at him, told him it was me, and shot him. Then I woke up.
