They say he's as trigger-happy as a guy who's happy about triggers. - [[Phoenix]] Aww, Phee, you forgot to note how cute and cuddly he is! That makes me sad. *sad face* - [[Kate]] Seawolf would stick to his guns even if they were facing backwards. - [[MysteriousGuy]]

Rare Photos Of Seawolf

Here Seawolf patrols the forums back in the olden days, when WASTE was young and Seawolf was, too. I WARNED you I would update on your behalf if you didn't get to it. I WARNED you! Consider this me making good on my threat. :P Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to my apple butter and non-homework-doing. :P

12/25/03

So. In about... *checks watch* ...twenty hours, I'll be landing in Chicago O'Hare International Airport for the start of four days and five nights with [[Kate]]. Now granted, we've met twice before, but this trip will be quite different. I'll be meeting and spending time with her whole family (including those of the "extended" type) and hometown friends. Admittedly, I'm a bit--just a wee bit--nervous. Not to toot my own horn, but I tend to thrive in such scenarios, where my charisma (one of my few gifts) comes out and takes over. Still, it's never an entirely comfortable thing, meeting one's friends and especially their family. Both sides try desperately to think of things to say, to do, to make everything comfortable and end up causing the discomfort that inevitably creates those moments of uncomfortable silence, the smiling and nodding a couple dozen times, and the lies we tell about having to go to the bathroom or offer a drink to our new guest. So it goes.

Anyways, before I wax philosophical too much....

Long and short of it...I'm a little uneasy. I know things will be fine and we'll get along and the trip will be fun, but it's still one of those things that makes your stomach go into brief bouts of distress when your mind dwells on it for too long. The flight doesn't help. *shudder*

I'm looking forward to--and expecting to have--a good time. This will likely be the last time we see each other for several months, so we'll be making the best of it, with plenty of fun activities and also quiet times to talk and cuddle and just be together. Should be a blast, and I'm sure leaving on the morning of the 31st will be a bittersweet occasion.

Once again: so it goes.

See you all in five days.

12/23/03

It feels so good to have Antioch Wars released. Granted, there are still a couple minor problems (mostly with how I zipped it up...darm it all!) that I'll have to fix up, but the project itself is done. I can't describe how great it feels to be a part of something that's so cool and *GASP* actually getting completed! It's taking some getting used to. :P

I love this time of year. Christmas in just a couple days, time off work (where I still get the benefits of school breaks, one nice perk of working at a college ;)), and this year, a full five days with The Boo. Who could ask for anything more? Well, not having an orange advisery and terrorist chatter about hijacking more planes might help. HATE flying already, thanks. Can't you take Christmas off, Osama?

The one thing I don't get is New Year's. Such a silly holiday. Like anything actually changes at midnight on the 31st. Or is that midnight on the 1st? Whatever.
