The East-West Coalition consists of two forum groups, the Eastsidaz and the Westsidaz, founded by phal, Flyspeck, and typhoon. It kind of still exists.

It has no real leader. The majority of its members happen to be members of The Protectorate also. Go figure.
It sired a few community projects, most famously the A Tale of Two Hoodz series that inspired a certain Victorian author to write a similarly named novel, similarly about the French.
It was voted "Favorite Forum Group" in the 2004 AFAs.
